White Spots on Tonsils

For someone who doesn’t know what tonsil stones are, it can be quite scary. People have even gone as far as thinking it’s a cancerous growth on their tonsils! Well for those of you who have white spots on their tonsils and want to know what they are, they’re technically called tonsilloliths. But they go by tonsil stones, tonsilliths, tonsiliths, tonsil rocks, stank balls, and I’m sure there’s more names out there we haven’t heard of yet.

Luckily, they’re nothing to worry about physically. They do no harm besides giving you bad breath! In some people it can cause a constant sore throat, or large tonsils but for most people they’re just simply an annoyance!

Why do I get Tonsil Stones?

Tonsil stones are formed from a combination of post nasal drip (mucus running down the back of your throat), food particles, and white blood cells. The reason they form is the tonsils function is to catch foreign debris which are attacked by white blood cells. The white blood cells pile on creating a usually small lumpy calculi (tonsil stone) inside the crypts of your tonsil.

If you’re experiencing tonsil stones and want help, I’ve written numerous articles (found in the category list to the left) that can help with prevention and removal of your tonsil stones.

Be careful not to buy anything you see online claiming they remove or prevent tonsil stones because there’s alot of products out there that simply don’t hold up to their claims! Luckily there’s people like me who’ve went out and bought almost everything there is out there to give REAL claims on what products work and what products don’t, and you’ll be surprised with the results!

What products will work BEST to remove and prevent tonsil stones?

- Relief over time
2. Grapefruit Seed Extract

This product has proven itself over the course of two years of use and proven effects.  Heck, the video I made about it on youtube has gotten over 180,000 views so far!  Or, if you still don’t believe me you could read a couple of visitor comments from the original post!   These two products are by far the most effective tools to a life free of tonsil stones.

So in closing, tonsil stones are nothing to worry about, but it’s important that you take the proper steps and use the proper tools to keep yourself free of them. Now that you know exactly what they are, where they come from, and how to STOP them, you can take better steps on getting them out of your life completely.
